Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS Systems)

We carry a complete line of UPS systems for all size computers, network components, POS terminals, testing labs, numerically-controlled machinery, medical imaging equipment, and graphic arts computers. These units range in size from small systems (single computer) to systems large enough to power a whole computer room.

True on-line and stand-by units are available. These units are designed to keep your systems operational during outages and through varying voltage conditions. These units also provide surge protection, transient suppression and voltage regulation.

Many of these Power Supply units have expandable battery packs to allow for increased run-time should an extended power outage occur.

Individual UPS units at each computer load can eliminate the need to re-wire your facility.

Voltage Regulators

Voltage Regulators incorporate a computer grade isolation transformer with tap switching voltage regulation. Regulation range is typically plus 10% minus 27% on the input of the unit maintaining a plus, minus 3% on the output. Regulators are recommended in cases where brown-outs (low voltage) are common.

Isolation Transformers

Isolation Transformer units are designed to provide computer grade power isolation to sensitive electronic loads. They typically provide 120db isolation from spikes and noise. Because they are a separately derived source of power, neutral to ground noise is minimal. Isolation transformers are ideal for computer room distribution.

Surge Suppression

Surge suppression protects your sensitive electronic loads from spikes and noise by coupling the excess power to the ground where it will do the least damage to your equipment. This equipment comes in a wide variety of models to protect everything from a single computer to the entire building. Another form of Surge protection is the building entry lightning protection, capable of protecting the building power and sensitive equipment from a lightning strike.
